The Center for Kingdom Creatives
2021 brought about the founding of “The Center for Kingdom Creatives” with Wes Connell, Ken Neal, Jesse Suggs, and Rebecca Maidl providing the leadership to get this ministry up and running. We are excited to invite you to be a part of a move of God through the arts! This is a ministry that started with small group gatherings and conversations of Christian artists, and led to our first themed “Freedom” Art Show in April 2022.
Our second art show “River of Life Installation Immersion Experience” was held September 2023, as artists and patrons explored a 3D “river walk” through the artwork and installation!
Our vision is to continue to establish at least one new branch of the four Kingdom Creatives Affinity Groups (Visual Arts, Literary Arts, Music Arts, and Performance Arts) each year. We are expanding and building our leadership teams and community groups this year with Visual Arts and Literary Arts being established and to eventually encompass all four main hubs of our creative arts groups.
In 2023 we would love for some creative leaders with a passion in Performance Arts or Music Arts to take the helm of their respective Affinity Group and begin to initiate and establish that Affinity Group, with all four areas being up and running by 2024! If you or someone you know is interested in Performance Arts (dance, drama, theater, movement, etc.) or Music Arts and would like to be involved in that Affinity Group contact one of the Literary or Visual Arts team leaders, or the newly created Performance Arts leadership team!
Nina James, Jaci Kleist, and Nicole Jaramillo have begun the planning stages of the Performance Arts Affinity Group (dance, drama, theater, movement, etc.) at the end of March 2023. Contact any of them if you’re interested in joining the Performance Arts Group!

Our Visual Arts group is temporarily on hold. Our Literary Arts group meets the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7 PM at River of Life. We’d love for you to join us!
Our Mission is to provide a place for the nurture and expression of Christian creatives in order to inspire one another and our culture as we bring glory to God, Who is the Source of our beautiful creations. Our Vision is to create unique opportunities to platform Christian creatives through art shows, gallery spaces, workshops, conferences, and forums that express Kingdom values through the arts.
The future is bright and we look forward to many more exciting events to come to fruition through this ministry!
