Prayer Ministry

Ephesians 6:18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

Upper Prayer Room Team

Our prayer warriors and intercessors begin Sunday morning prayer at 9 AM in the sanctuary, then around 9:15 the prayer team prays over the children's classrooms and makes their way to the Prayer Room for more intercessory prayer. Wednesday mornings our intercessors and prayer warriors meet together in the Prayer Room at 10:30 AM to Noon and pray as the Holy Spirit leads them to. Come and join us in prayer anytime you feel the Holy Spirit leading you to!

We’ve seen many answers to prayer including the following:

               A) God is adding new singles, couples, and families to the River of Life Church body.

               B) Many messages God has told our congregation are being confirmed by way of the pulpit, worship team, and Upper Room prayer team on the same Sundays.

               C) God is prospering the coffee shop, book store, and River of Life church by prospering the families of River of Life in their own lives spiritually and financially.

Matthew 6:6  “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen.”

Matthew 21:13 “My house will be called a house of prayer.”

Ministry Prayer Team

The Ministry Prayer Team consistently prays and intercedes for the Church members and their needs every Sunday after the church service and throughout the week as requested. Many who have been prayed for have been touched by the Lord and had answered prayers! Our Sunday morning prayer teams are available to encourage, exhort, and comfort people in need and pray for healing of any kind.

We would love to see God add prayer warriors and intercessors to all of our prayer teams, and hope to see an even greater manifestation of God’s power. When you feel the Holy Spirit calling and leading you, come and join us!!

All prayer and the answers to prayer are summed up in one Bible verse:

John 15:7 “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask what ever you wish, and it will be given you.”

James 5:14 -16 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
