Our Freedom Ministry leaders and other facilitators and co-facilitators, organize and lead the Women’s and Men’s group Encounters as well as the 10 week Freedom in Christ course.

We are using Neil Anderson's resources for both a weekend spiritual and emotional “spring cleaning” as well as a follow-up, 10-week course to solidify and maintain Freedom in Christ.  River of Life has provided the leadership and training for our women’s Encounter weekends and we are blessed to collaborate with Restoration Church for our men to benefit from this great opportunity to encounter God - the primary and only way to get true freedom!  

It is up to you whether you attend the 10-week course before or after your Encounter weekend. It seems to benefit participants either way. It is our desire to continue to develop leaders for both the men and women to benefit from this impactful ministry for the years to come.  If true spiritual and emotional freedom is a cry of your heart, please sign up for your Encounter with God.

It is highly encouraged for spouses to attend Encounters consecutively as it enables couples to grow together in the same ways at the same time. It is also best to sign up as soon as you can to ensure your ability to attend, as they fill up quickly.  The cost is $90 per participant with scholarships available if needed.  We have testimonial cards that each participant wrote after their Encounter if you are interested in the personal impact this ministry has had. It is our desire that every member of River Tribe experience the amazing freedom this ministry facilitates!  

Ephesians 6:10-18  

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.

Romans 12:2

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
