Giving Back to our community and the world in need!

Missions

Once again, the River of Life family was faithful with their giving in 2021. Subsequently, we were blessed to provide support to the organizations listed below, for missions giving. In addition to the listed ministries, Junior Youth Challenge, a part of Child Evangelism Fellowship in Casper, was funded by River of Life and our facility was provided for use for the 2021-2022 school year.

Your faithful giving and generosity in 2021 touched many people, through multiple ministries. We look forward to a seamless continuity with Missions Giving in 2022!

Their ministries include: Campus Life/High School, Campus Life/Middle School, Juvenile Justice Ministry, Skateboard Ministry, and lunches at The Link.

Child Evangelism Fellowship - we adopted a Junior Youth Challenge club and are contributing monthly to the CEF funding for our local branch. CEF is a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in the local church for Christian living.

Global

Mark Anderson Ministries – international missions, headquartered in Cody, WY. Their vision is to minister to people who have heard little or nothing about Jesus Christ and to reach the poor and hurting in unreached areas both at home and overseas.

Children’s Orphanage Relief Fund in Bubinga, Africa - This orphanage began operation in 2005. Presently there are 23 children living in the orphanage, 13 girls and 10 boys, ages 8-17. The children attend school, and many of them pursue higher education. The kids are taught how to grow corn, and basic gardening skills. “The chicken project” provides eggs and meat, which helps feed the kids. Any surplus is sold for income to help with expenses. The children are raised in a Christian environment and participate in church activities. They are taught how to clean the church, as well as clean their rooms and common areas.

Overcoming Voice – Consultation, training, and education to develop awareness about and prevention of human trafficking. Headquartered in Missouri.

Prevailing Word Ministries – Revs. Larry and Valerie Hansen established and operate a ministers’ training school in Ghana, West Africa.  “After one year of ministry, the school was established and 6 years later many men and women (believers filled with the truth of God's Word) had been trained for the work of the ministry.  During that time many outreaches were held in various villages in Ghana as well as one in Togo.  Through these outreaches and other ministries there were thousands who received Jesus and many were healed by the power of God.  Miracles were wrought through the hands of our students.  Blind eyes were opened, deaf ears healed, cancers dissolved, A.I.D.S. overcome, and the dead raised.”

Vision Beyond Borders International Missions – headquartered in Casper. Their mission is to serve the worldwide church by providing the necessary tools and training for local believers to fulfill Christ's Great Commission in their own countries. The Bible Project provides families around the world, with the Word of Christ. The Vision for Women and Children Ministries help women and children who are enslaved in sex trafficking around the world and helps with home sponsorship for kids who need a place to live.  Vision for Pastors seeks to equip and train Pastors, Evangelists and Church Planters to carry out the “Great Commission.” They also provide Refugee Relief and Support for those in desperate places.
